New Zealand today has become a highly popular country for providing quality education at the international level. The country houses some of the most recognized universities of the world.

From fashion design to agriculture and many more, there are lots of courses to go with as an aspiring student. Whichever full-time course you are determined to go with, it is mandatory to have attained the age of minimum eighteen years old.

Generally, to enroll in fashion design courses in NZ, students need to be a minimum of eighteen years old.

Is there any Exception for Fashion Degree Students?

Generally, to enroll in fashion design courses in NZ, students need to be a minimum of eighteen years old. That too for most of the diploma and full-time degree programs! For a few level 2 or 3 certification programs, there are exceptions and some relaxation in terms of age.

Though you may come across decent updates on the web, it will still be better to have words with a reliable immigration adviser. There are some universities that may consider applicants who belong to the age group under twenty years.

In such situations, students must have demonstrated the ability to grasp the courses and complete the program. Lucrative career options are promised after completion of professional fashion design courses with a good score.

What about the Rules of Agriculture Courses?

Though the minimum age requirements may vary to enroll in agriculture courses for professionals, many programs still require applicants to be a minimum of eighteen years old. Some exceptional cases are:

  • Telford Certificate in Farming

  • New Zealand Certificate in Agriculture

  • Massey Diploma in Agriculture

In each of the degrees mentioned above, applicants belonging to a minimum of sixteen or seventeen years of age can enroll. Having a valid IELTS score will permit you to bag a seat in your desired courses and in the preferred university.

What is the Importance of IELTS Score?

As the medium of instruction in every education center in New Zealand is only English, it is mandatory for every student to have a firm grip on the language. The four sections that are included in the IELTS examination are:

  • Reading

  • Writing

  • Vocabulary

  • Listening

A minimum score of 6.5 in every section with a total of 7 in all will smoothen your way to enroll as a student in a professional full-time course.
